The 2019 NCAA men’s tournament continues on Sunday. On Sunday, Texas Tech and Virginia won their spots in the Final Four, and today Auburn will take on Kentucky and Duke will take on Michigan State to determine the same.
If you’ve missed the last few games or you need to brush up on some trivia, Amazon has loaded its personal assistant with tournament-specific info. Unlike some of Alexas’s other tricks, the feature is available out of the box, with no need to enable a special skill in order to use it.
The best move here is to just ask Alexa what you need to know and see what happens. “Alexa, what’s going on with March Madness?” will give you a brief rundown of what the currently March Madness situation is. You can also ask where the games are being played, what the Final Four schedule is, and what the scores were in the day’s game.
Alexa knows a ton about the history of the teams and the tournament, for settling those game-time fights with friends, and she has her own bracket you can ask about, in case you want to feel better about how your own is doing. Alexa had Gonzaga winning it all.
She also has stats info, so she can tell you what the odds are between different matchups and is loaded with live updates, so you can yell out “Alexa what’s the score of the Duke game?” While you’re cleaning the living room and find out, even if you don’t have the TV on.
And finally, if you just need to lighten the mood after your team loses, she’s got a few basketball jokes to help ease the pain.
